Installation of Turbine at Reepham College

Retro fitted wind turbine (2011)

 

As part of the college future proofing strategy the college was designed to facilitate the future cost effective installation and maintenance of renewable energy technology.

 

To the delight of all concerned, the project was selected by the Communities Challenge Team for the installation of  a Gaia 11Kw Wind  Turbine to supplement the earlier (2010) large scale retro fitted installation of Photovoltaic Panels to the west elevation. Funding was again from the DECC.
