Award winning performance specification and design intent approach. 

The following projects all use simple but innovative sheet metal detailing techniques to achieve an affordable precision engineered finish. These techniques were originally pioneered on the  Lotus Cars' Research and Development Centre working with the Dutch cladding company Prince Cladding BV using the AME Euro panel system. The sheet metal works for the four subsequent projects listed below have been carried out by four different UK companies working to a performance specification and design intent drawings produced by Teather + Walls Architects. All four projects have been recognised with Norfolk or Suffolk Association of Architects craftsmanship awards - see Awards.

Lotus Cars' Research and Development Centre

Structural frame - Steel

Base cladding system – Standard range AME Euro composite panels and jointing system.  Bespoke panels as required to include radiused composite panels for feature stair tower and  corner panels

Sheet Metal components -   Make up panels, fascias, soffites, gutters and rainwater down pipes in PVF2 sheet steel or powder coated aluminium 

Reepham College, Norfolk

Structural frame - Precast concrete

Base cladding system - Double skin modulor prefabricated precast concrete panel system developed with and supplied by Tarmac.

Sheet Metal components - Make up panels,  fascias, soffites, gutters and rainwater down pipes in PVF2 sheet steel or powder coated aluminium.

New Ambulance Station , Newmarket

Structural frame - Steel  

Base cladding system - Standard Kingspan ‘sandwich’ panels and ‘top hat’ jointing system.

Sheet Metal components - Make up panels, cills,  fascias, soffites, gutters and rainwater down pipes in PVF2 sheet steel or powder coated aluminium.
